I've said here before, probably more than once, that the "smash it all, start again" urge was a very definite driver around here in the Red Wall. It gelled nicely with "stick it to the establishment, kick them out" and picked up a good few votes, many from people who didn't imagine that it would result in actually leaving the EU.Didn’t bother people who thought they were "shoving it up the establishment”. It couldn’t get any worse - could it? Besides, old Boris was a larf. All those experts, what did they know?
