I’m aware that Blue Note Tone Poets should be their top quality pressings and better gatefold/ info. I’m half tempted by the triple album Rollins - Night at the Village Vanguard. However I have a single album version on an oldish Blue Note that’s in good condition. This new version is claimed to be from the original tapes whereas all others are from copies.
The triple isn’t cheap and whilst interesting in its completeness I’m struggling to make up my mind on purchasing it. Is it likely the SQ will be a noticeable step up?
