Official President Biden Thread

It’s not a spoof, but I’m not sure he does think that. He just thinks that enough voters will believe it for it to be politically worth him saying it. The continuation of Pump by other means.

Fingers crossed it gains the derisive lack of traction it/he deserves.
Indeed; this was my thinking too. They’re still playing to Trump’s base.

Tony,

By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.

Senator Ted Cruz (Twitter).

PS Not a spoof, he actually said that! He actually thinks the Paris Climate Accord is about Paris!

Greta should do stand up. She's on fire this week.

Ted Cruz should of stuck at playing Uncle Fester, he was quite good at that.

More satirising the delusional Americans who think the new communist regime is going to intern them.

I don't buy that. You either have zero understanding and empathy with what went on the past or you are just insensitive.
.Concentration camps are not a subject for satire when you really understand what went.

No need to reply - you cannot defend the indefensible.

Rob,

Although they're both monsters, Grandpa Munster is likeable and has charisma.

Grandpa Munster also didn't eat a booger on TV.

Nice monologue from Stephen Colbert. He articulates the sheer sense of relief of stepping back from such a nightmare very well. We now need to achieve the same in the UK!
Biden: "We have never ever ever failed, in America--when we've acted together."
Cobert: "Someone clearly never saw the Cats movie!"

He has some other good jokes too. Fun riff on Lady Gaga....

perfectly ordinary political sarcasm

but it isn't though, using genocide to satirize political views, is crass and undermines the gravity of historical event to the point of normalising it. One could equally say send em to see Pol Pot, and it is equally stupid thing to say.
