I'm running Sonos throughout the house and Bluesound in my study. Main reason is that I just wanted to try it out as well as being able to use some hi-res material. The Sonos app is better, but not by much. The Sonos desktop app is much better. Streaming service integration is better with Sonos...

I think my M-dac is on the Optimal Transient XD setting although I can't really tell any difference between them.

This really annoys me, pages of DIY power cable completely unrelated to the item you're looking for.

I broke both optical inputs on my M-DAC using cables where the connectors were just slightly oversized. As mentioned above there is too much variation in the size of the connectors.

I was expecting the first post in this thread to be several years old. I think for home use a 4" screen would feel pretty small these days. I switched on my iPhone 4 the other day with a 3.5" screen and it felt tiny.

Yes, they're getting a pain with the regular updates. There was one recently that wouldn't allow me to access any online services until I'd done it, very annoying. I've another one pending now that won't update within the app, it keeps sending me to the play store so I haven't bothered yet.

Thanks for confirming the method of attachment. I assume the grilles sit out from the cabinet face quite a bit to clear the surface mounted drivers.

I've been looking at this too but there isn't a lot of information about them apart from the comment on the website. If there are any pictures of the grilles it would be helpful.

Very good news. Radio on the move would be almost useless for me without FM. Let's hope it's hear to stay for a long time.

Massive difference in TV size. I thought you'd also moved the fireplace, it was just miles from the old TV! Looks good. Never heard a playbar though so unable to help on that front.
