I think this would have probably been one of the first things I bought on PFM about 10+ years ago, price has gone up a little bit since but hope I can find another!
Thanks Jason, appreciate that. Check the power supply cables when you do!I do have! I need to get it out of whatever safe place I've kept it in. I have spied it recently whilst sorting through stuff - I'll dig it out and give it a once over to see if it still works (it's been unused for maybe 10 years but stored sans batteries and in a dry environment).
Annoyingly I lent mine to someone I'm no longer in touch with over a decade ago and there's zero chance I'll ever see it again...There are a lot out there, always 15 or so on eBay, but stupidly expensive now. I pad £200 for mine here a couple of years ago in unworking condition, but it is fine now after a good clean and new belts, idlers etc. I stuck a thread in the classic room detailing the process. Annoyingly it is one of the final models with surface mount caps, which are currently beyond my skillset in servicing. I feel time is ticking there; I need to get those skills sometime before they crap their corrosive goo over the board!
PS I know I’ll upset some here, but I don’t think the Walkman Pro is that good at all! This is the second I’ve owned and any half decent three-head deck kills it sound quality wise. I view it as a nostalgia thing, something very cool and iconic that doesn’t take up much shelf space and enables playing cassettes in the very rare situations I want to, but it was woefully over-hyped performance wise. A Nakamichi it is not!
Had a working one of these for years and as of tonight I now don't...
Looking for a replacement before chancing one off eBay. Do you have one stored away that isn't being used?
Thanks for looking.

@Tony L the later D6Cs, which use mostly surface mount devices do seem to be more prone to electrolytic capacitor problems.
