if i were the RNC, i would pass legislation for a 90% income tax on earnings over $1M. that way, people would be well-off and educated enough such that trump probably never came into their lives, either as president, reality TV personality or casino owner/bankrupter.

in 20 or so years I know nothing about the complexities of you (which is why you are something of a cartoon character to me) but as a philosopher, perhaps a job at the CIA is calling you? You could rot the agency out from inside.

The name of that group (Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity) just pushed the needle on my bullshit detector into the red zone. A good rule of thumb is that any organisation (or website) that has to add the words "... for sanity" at the end of its name is probably not sane at all. For example:

On the substantive point (Trump's connections with Russia and how it may or may not have influenced the election) there should be a full investigation. I don't see any smoking gun right now but there are a number of established facts (see the video matthewr posted + Trump's refusal to publish his tax returns, the lying under oath of Sessions, the hacking of the DNC server) not to mention the claims in the British spy's "dodgy dossier" and whatever the CIA (claim to) know that hasn't been made available to public. It smells funny.

The lines between what we write and what we mean became irreversibly blurred recently IMHO. In the old days of human interaction, irony and sarcasm were clear as day in discussions such as this. We seem to be a species in need of adaptation to the written word. Politicians are taking advantage of the new age media. Those who control device content control the populace. Whether mankind will wise up before they are plunged into darkness is IMHO open to debate.

That is Stone's Twitter account, he's not verified. He may have deleted some Tweets. When people say things like "political correctness gone mad", this is the sort of world they want:

Did he want an ally in Trump and an end to sanctions to get the money flowing? Or is Putin a genius who came up with a plan to set the US alight and watch it implode?
