Sota Star Sapphire, SME V
SME 10A

All but the Fons still in residence.

I am sorry I felt really inadequate as I have only owned 2 and you have soooo many

Rega Planar 3

LP 12

does that mean I don't have a hobby and just enjoy music?

Of course not....all are equal, it's the attitude that counts. Not what you happen to own.

Garrard SP25 Mk2
Thorens TD160/SME
ProJect RPM9.1X
Michell Gyrodec/Jelco 750D

I still own the ProJect and the Michell.

The family home had a Dansette followed by a cheap generic all in one stereo.

I've owned just two:
Sony PS-T20 (model from Google images) '78 - '86
Systemdek IIX/Linn Basic+ '86 to present. Just put an Ortofon 2M Blue on and now going through Rega Fono a2d) It's sounding good to me. Even records I thought the early players had ruined.

OK, I’ll play! Tone arms are parenthetical, and from the first TMS, I ran at least two turntables.
Pioneers, Sansuis etc. lost in the mists of time
AR XA
Technics SL 110 (Infinity Black Widow, Grace 707, 704)
Denon DP55K? (Dynavector 505)
Oracle Delphi II (Linn Ittok, Syrinx PU3)
Roksan Xerxes Mk, I,II,III (Rega RB300, Tabriz zi, Roksan Artemiz, SME V)
Roksan TMS (SME IV.Vi)
Roksan Radius Mk. III (Tabriz zi)
Roksan Xerxes X (Tabriz zi, SME IV.Vi)
Roksan Xerxes 20 (SME IV.Valhalla)
Roksan Xerxes 20plus (SME IV.Valhalla)
Roksan TMS 3 (SME IV.Vi Valhalla, Dynavector 507 Mk.II, Graham Phantom Supreme)
In among the Roksans was a Well Tempered Classic and a Linn LP12 (Ekos) but both proved transient.
No idea how I’ll ever afford it, but I fear a Vertere RG-1 in the future.

Trio KD-1033, can't recall the cartridge

Rega Planar 3 (S-shape arm), can't recall first cart, but Ortofon VMS-20E Mk II latterly. Gave the Rega to my dad when I upgraded to;

Linn LP12, Basik Plus, K9, cartridge later upgraded to Audio-Technica AT-OC5. Remains to this day, but time to replace cartridge.

The Rega was later upgraded to a more recent Planar 3 with an RB300 arm and AT-F5 cart, and that's still in my household

Technics,(can't remember the model)
Dual 626
Trio L07D
Thorens 124 mkii Audio Technica 1503mkiii arm, Jim Campbell plinth (currently in use, unlikely to change).

cheers Al

Garrard Zero 100. Now that has become a rare deck....anyone got one?

Michell Gyro bought that when they were introduced, their Borehamwood plant was quite near, over the years changed to the Orbe platter, Syrinx Pu3 tonearm , Koetsu Black and then Rad then the first VDH modified cart, after many years TW Acoustic AC with Graham 'Phantom', technics SP10 mark II, briefly tried a Spiral Groove , and now Grand Prix Audio 'Monaco', whichI am extremely pleased with, 12" Triplanar on that at the moment and Dynavector XV 1-S.
Keith.

Thorens TD160
Linn LP12 Valhalla Ittok
