Between us and them
Some of the amps I've owned and used at home..
Armstrong 621
Lustraphone LP100 (very sweet)
Rogers Cadet 3 - (sweet Nait predecessor)
Quad 22/II (should have kept it)
Radford SC22/STA25 (should have kept this too)
Sony TA-5650 (V-FET and very good)
Naim 12s/160
Naim 32/snaps/250
Naim 32.5/Hicap/250
Linn LK1/LK2/75/80 (fatally flawed - pre got better, power got worse, but better instrumental tone)
Nakamichi CA 7/PA5 mk2
Audio Research SP14/Tube Technology Genesis Mono's (shagged output valves at 1 year)
Croft Super Micro 4 "PP"/ (unregulated) OTL power amp (great pair but power amp unreliable)
Quad 34/306 (ugh!) 405-2 (better than you'd think)
AVI S2000MP (early)/Moth phono/AVI S2000 stereo and mono amps (superb even now)
AVI S2000 MP+P with active ATC SCM100A's (I want another MP+P pre amp...)
Quad II's - Glen Croft rebuilt - absolutely beautiful if coloured sound
ATC SCA 2 with phono card/SPA2 - 150 (expensive but good - should have bought ATC 50A's! instead of power amp and WB Act1's)
Bryston BP25P/ATC 20ASL Pros (anyone wanna buy the Bryston?, can't afford the new, better power supply)
Sugden A21 - too good to be a "loan" amp but didn't sound right (old age?)..
Croft Super micro 4 "PP" (for the Quad II's, but sounds great with the ATC's...)
Metrosound ST20e - bought cheap for headphones, but this once good amp is worn out and has noisy controls.
