Westminster sexual harassment scandal

I'd rather jack, than Fleetwood Mac.

A UKIP supporter speaks!

That's unfair - imsmc Jack merely considered voting Leave. I know I did, and didn't you too?
Also isn't Jack's candour far preferable to the cagey lil' fish who pontificate, but rarely/never nail their colours to the mast?

Jack also 'considered' voting for UKIP.

I never for a single nanosecond considered voting leave.

Did he? I don't remember that!

But my point stands - from a quality of debate pov far better to be open/honest.
And of course the pfm politburo is very forgiving of those who stray, but return to the fold ;-)

I am half German and voted Remain, Labour in the general election and Green in the London Mayoral one, because Sadiq Khan loathes socialists and loves Blairites.

Considered UKIP and what Farage was saying, but in the end decided what they spout is far right-wing and almost neo-Nazi BS.

Following Corbyn's speeches on the EU before the Referendum, I decided to vote Remain and made this quite clear on pfm. At least I am not somebody who pretends to be leftish and spouts divisive bile whenever possible from a right-wing perch.

Whilst we are clearing the air, and generally 'fessing up:
I used to believed in The Great Pumpkin, and for a couple of weeks after May became PM I though she might do an O.K. job.

Not sure what being half German has to do with anything, but OK.

At least I am not somebody who pretends to be leftish and spouts divisive bile whenever possible from a right-wing perch.

Yeah, shocking when people do that. There's one quasi-left winger who uses the phrase 'International Jewry', straight from the Der Sturmer handbook.

Is he really a quasi-left winger?
imo he self identifies as of the left, but clearly asserts some extreme right wing opinions.

May was surrounded by crapping ministerial bulldogs when she did her acceptance speech on the steps. Their pile of Tory poo is now so high it has stopped the bells of Big Ben ringing.

Even the houmous isn't safe!

Has anyone seen the taramasalata?

"Ex-police officer demands Damian Green retracts 'lie' claim"

"A former senior police officer has demanded cabinet minister Damian Green publicly retracts a claim that he lied about pornography being found on a computer in the MP's office in 2008.
Bob Quick said he would consider legal action against the first secretary of state if he did not do so."

is it wrong of me to hope that

a) mr green doesn't apologise and
b) mr quick considers and then proceeds with legal action?

I want to see pics of the cops actually finding and viewing the alleged pron, which may or may not have been 'illegal', 'extreme', 'legal then but illegal a few days later'.

absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, as i'm sure you are well aware. and, "I want to see pics of the cops actually finding and viewing the alleged pron" - good luck with that one :)

Nope. It would be good to see Green yanked further into the smutsphere and taken to court.

Having porn on your computer does't make you a dirty old perv, but keeping it on your work pc brands you an idiot.

The idea that the Tories are masturbating themselves senseless, while dealing with Brexit and a stalling economy fits.

Jack

I’ve no idea which is why I’ve said so little about it. There has to be hard evidence of somewhere, surely? I don’t understand why it would not have been dealt with at the time if it was a parliamentary computer as that would have to be in serious breach of the IT equipment AUP? As an ex-IT manager I can’t think of anywhere I’ve ever worked where it wouldn’t be a dismissal offence. There would be a IT dept router-log etc as well assuming he’d downloaded them in this environment. If it was his own personal PC then nothing illegal or job-threatening may have occured.

I’ve actually forgotten what the room search was about in the first place! What suspected behaviour were they investigating?
