Will we get charged tax / Vat from EU to UK now?

Thanks, that's probably the case with regards to new gear. Buying second hand from the pfm classifieds will be quite a bit more expensive from now on though...

Will we get charged tax / Vat from EU to UK now?

As someone still living living in the EU (Finland) I've obviously been interested in how things work nowadays for someone who wants to buy items from the UK and import them to the EU. I've been a fan of British hifi for quite a while and owned a lot of gear - Naim, ProAc, Harbeth, Celef among...

    Pro-Ac Tab 10 vs Spendor S3/5r Vs Celef LS8

At the moment I'm feeding them with a Nac12 RSL/TPR4 Hicap/Nap140 setup. Testing with the Devialet 220pro that I have in my main set I didn't feel the LS8s were forming any kind of bottleneck. You definitely got a good deal on those. I would think that it would make it hard for ProAc to sell...

    Pro-Ac Tab 10 vs Spendor S3/5r Vs Celef LS8

Nice comparison! You came to quite similar conclusions as I when I tested the LS8 and Tablette 10 side by side earlier this year. In case someone's interested, my little review is here...

Graham Audio is making BOTH an LS3/5 and an LS3/5a

@Tarzan , I haven't seriously experimented with the volume but I feel the Celef does go comfortably pretty loud despite being a sealed box (like the Tab10). It has low sensitivity though and a recommended power limit of just 50W, so maybe no live concert volumes with these ones... One more pair...

Graham Audio is making BOTH an LS3/5 and an LS3/5a

Probably yes - I've just developed a sweet tooth for midrange quality and timbral accuracy from having heard some more high end speakers down the road :) I also listen quite a lot to classical, and certain things there, particularly choral music, are hard to reproduce accurately. The Tab10 is a...

Graham Audio is making BOTH an LS3/5 and an LS3/5a

I made a comparison of two LS3/5a-inspired models, Proac Tablette 10 and Celef LS8 just yesterday, and thought some might find it interesting, so here goes: I used a Devialet 220pro to drive the speakers that were located in the middle of a quite a big room, with about 4 m space behind them...

Isolating Feet for bookshelf speakers worth it ?

For sure the frequency will depend on the mass of the speakers. Mine are Proac Tablette 10s, a few kg each.

Isolating Feet for bookshelf speakers worth it ?

I had speakers on a bookshelf with the result that that shelf was resonating to the touch. Then I bought these Moongel pads: https://www.thomann.de/gb/smile_moongel.htm (about 10 euros) and placed them under the speakers. Now the speakers float on the gel pads with a resonant frequency of about...

    ProAc tweeter foam replacement

Thanks a lot, very good to hear that! I'll give them a call soon.

    ProAc tweeter foam replacement

Does anyone here know if the tweeter surround foam can be replaced with a similar one that also has the ProAc logo on it? Googling I find that some company in the US (Modern Audio Consultants) had these still a few years ago, but I can't find any info on the company any more. The foam...

    Avondale TPR4 - Naim Hi-Cap upgrade

Hi, does anyone know if it would be possible to install the TPR4 module to the original long sleeve (similar case as Nac12) snaps? I haven't seen one opened anywhere.
