Your Loudspeaker history...

Dad's hand me downs homemade small book shelf.
Kef c35 (I think small, book shelf) - blew tweeter
Kef Concerto - played them loud to make the bass drivers clank on end stops.
Mission 731 - not sure of exact model
Bose Acoustimass 5 , 2.1 sub sat , used when I was moving from bedsit 2 bedsit
Impulse H2 - very smooth natural sound with extended bass
Kef 105/3 on top of 2 B&W 800 matrix subs + KEF TD34 surrounds and C200 centre - awesome a real hooligan of a system !! blew tweeter-had to let these go as my girlfriend / partner / mother of my children couldn't live with them . Plus they weren't exactly baby/toddler friendly stacked on top of subs.
B&W 8nt Signatures * 3 + 2 B&W FPM 4's + Sunfire 12" - heard a demo of these and was amazed at the quality. Bit of a pig trying to change cabling tho :(

JPW Sonatas (still have these, I take them on holiday and can listen to them for hours)
Eltax Symphony 6 (I wanted some floorstanders)
Epos M15 (my first proper speakers)
Epos ES22 (main speakers and my favourite so far)
Royd Minstrels (on loan to my girlfriend, nearly a good as the ES22s and easier to position)
Celestion Ditton 25 (bought for a bit of fun to experience a 12in bass driver, not enough in the mid-range for me, I prefer the ES22s and the Minstrels)
I'd love to try some IMF transmission line monsters but don't have the space or cash.

Well I've still not owned any IMFs but I do now have some nice Tannoy Berkeleys. I'm still interested in TLS80s but after my trip to Scalford I now have big active ATCs on my radar :)

B&W DM601
Dynaudio Audience 52 ( had it for quite a few years)
Dynaudio Focus 140 ( meh, bad move- listened to the reviews instead of trusting my own ears)
ATC SCM 19 ( punted on an used pair - hate it!)
Dynaudio Comfdence C1

Fostex backloaded horn ( piece of shit that was)
Quad ESL 57 ( still have them but they sound much better at a friend's place)
Saba Reso Green cones and Mini Onkens for second system ( flawed but fun speakers)

since late 2010-
DIY active horn speakers - now in 4 way guise. ( found the sound I like and no further interest in any commercial speakers )

1974 - Leak 2020
1978 - Tangent TM1
1980 - Isobariks DMS (walnut)
1986 - Isobariks DMS (black ash)

That's it - not many changes in 38 years.

Omar Wendovers (it's taken me ages to remember that name)
Ruark Sabres
Ruark Talismans
PMC FB1+s

I've clearly not chopped and changed that much in thirty odd years.

I am amazed at how some people have changed their speakers so often.
I have always made my own . So there is only one person to blame if you dont like the sound . My TMLS have been with me for 13 years . Have tried different drivers ect over the years . I am overwhelmed about the response . Have to go & have a lie down :<)
