at least he buys good gear and has good taste though.... he is indeed an architecture wiz.

No, coz it isn't a preamp too. The MIRUS. Is just as much a top preamp and mediaplayer as is it a DAC. If I found a DACpre that's was better and didn't cost much more, then I'd have to check it out.

Naa, needed to have USB and remote control, which IIRC the prism had neither. A shame as its an interesting product otherwise.
