Assuming that you're referring to the Abattoir and not the Wam, most people don't post too much about hifi so please don't be intimidated by the fact that some members have expensive kit. It's a friendly place.

I would agree with this 100,%. A hi-fi forum it most certainly isn't. A bunch of misfit, middle aged plus blokes who have / had an interest in hi-fi but now enjoy faffing around everything on Mumsnet it certainly is.
