which one make vinyl system?

Is this concern about 'servicing' a modern millenial kind athing. I've never ever serviced any hi fi in 55 years of kit, except when I DIY a valve swap, deck bearing oil or belt change but who can't do that?
Now I'm taking my own thread off topic:) doh.

Rega Planar 2tt + RB 220 arm, OEM Carbon cartridge, A2D Fono mm stage.

About as plug and play and balanced as a decent entry one shop TT gets. Great lively fun sound for my tastes.

Just about to get one, once I've actually worked out exactly where and how to site it - so I'll let you know.

I'd stick where I am other that cart, that would have to be Apheta
P9, Apheta, Ios phono stage, eleict-r, saturn-r, Dac-r, and would have to buy Hoop's R9 speakers back

Never heard any AN kit but out of the few companies that make an end-to-end system they are the only one I can think of that I'd be interested in.

Heard/owned enough Rega kit over the years to not be bothered with any of it.

Where I've been for years Full singing and dancing with bells on Linn LP12 played through a active naim system through naim SL2.
Brings me much joy and happiness .

Just for some post election gloom relief:)
You have to nominate one HiFi company whose products you'd trust to supply every major component in a beautiful sounding Vinyl only system. Open Budget. Cables and stands excluded.

Get me a time machine.

Linn 1990

LP12
Ekos
Troika

3x Klouts
Kairn

bariks
Linn cable.

I have a one make vinyl system - All Yamaha.

MC1x beryllium cantilevered cart
YP-D9 manual turntable
C-2 Pre
B-2 Power
NS-1000XW speakers

all works well together.. nothing mismatched here as I’m sure they were all developed together!!..

Anything but SME.

If they wish to abuse their long-term user base, and prospective clients, they can have that right back at them.

Buying today, I'd be into Audio Note UK and also Kuzma. Maybe Scheu, for old times' sake.

I mean it is still a Linn LP12 in my book, however a purist Ivor type view makes this a bastard offspring at best and so not a Linn, perhaps that is enough to get close to a one brand system, a not-Linn-part-Naim turntable, Naim amps and speakers? Done me proud for decades ... though I prefer something that can play 45s so have a (shock horror) Mose Hercules II ...
