I’m ripping some Monk albums this morning. Monk’s Music, a stereo copy, Japanese release, mid 80’s. Monk with John Coltrane, a recent reissue on Craft. Also listened to Guy Clark Workbench Songs, an old favourite from a CD-R I made from a friend’s CD.

Just picked up a 1st press SRC copy for a pound!

Such an incredible production, I forgot how good this album was.

This is another album I have never got around to buying, I remember a friend had a copy on cassette and I remember thinking how great it sounded.

Just setting up the new Planar 10 with my XX2 Just about there now, I think. Bob Marley & The Wailers – Exodus. Island Records – DLPS 9498. LP, OG, 1977. I wasn't buying any new kit this year having just paid off the Xplorers but sometimes you have to take your chances

Exodus should be sounding fabulous on the P10/xx2 combination, happy listening
