A nice, gentle, easy listening Album to ease one into Bedfordshire.

Living room turntable this morning for a bit of instrumental OMD - 2024 RSD release. Sorry to Andy McCluskey but these sound great without vocals 😄

Charlie Haden / Hampton Hawes – As Long As There's Music. Early release on Artist House from 1978.

Really nice piano/bass duets and I guess one of the last recordings Hampton Hawes made. Apart from this I only have his early records on Contemporary. This is very different. I should really check out more of his work.

Peter Gabriel I/O boxed set has just landed through the door via AMAZON. Monnstrously expensive.
Ordered back in Nov 23.
Extracted the CDs and DVD from the book, shame they don''t have their own 'digi-pack' sleeve as they would have if purchased seperately!
Vinyl nicely packaged in individual sleeves and poly liners will have to wait on a new cartridge in the comming weeks.

Playing CD on my Exposure XM CD (still awaiting my 3510 CD if it ever arrives!) and pleased with the music so far, haven't lestened to much PG since SO and US.

The other guilty pleasure to arrive is the DVD of

Portishead - PNYC - Live At The Roseland Theatre
