Today was the first time I'd got round to listening to the album - wanted to see what the fuss was about.Ive given the St Vincent 4 or 5 plays and frankly I still don't understand the fuss.. maybe its me.

Far and away my favourite Sault albumSault - ‘Black is’, has the feeling of a long standing classic; each of their releases feel important. Took me a while to get what the fuss is about but I was so wrong about them!
Just finished the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols from King's College, Cambridge.
Very modern choral arrangements - perhaps not for the traditionally minded? The countermelodies seemed to muddy up the sound a touch but the organ sound was excellent.
