Today I ar mostly listening to...Edgar Froese - Macular Transfer (The original version) followed by Tangerine Dream, Phaedra, Rubicon, Encore and The Sorcerer....making a reel to reel mix tape!

Most of Edgar's re-releases of his Virgin solo albums on Eastgate were ruined with his usual tangentization but the re-work of that was really quite good. I always thought it a quite sparse-sounding album and his additions on that complement the original tracks and not stick out like a dog's doodahs like it normally does.

Looking at the rest of the list, you need these as well:

 
Louis Armstrong meets Oscar Peterson, 50 years ago since his death earlier the week, hardly a mention by the media, shameful really. Just shows how all time greats can be quickly forgotten.
