A 5LP Box set that I thought would never see the light of day. Far better SQ and material than I could have possibly hoped for and lovely packaging.
He wrote 'Ain't it Fun' (later covered by Guns n' Roses and The Dead Boys), was a founding member of Pere Ubu and wrote their 'Life Stinks'. Barely had a record out in his short lifetime, but was a fabulous guitarist, singer and songwriter. Also famously eulogised by Lester Bangs.

Beuna Vista Social Club - there is some pale autumn sun shining here in North East Scotland and I thought I’d follow that spirit to Cuba....... there’s a joyfulness about the musicians being offered a chance to record after being ignored for years. Well done Ry Cooder for curating.
