In the early 1970s I used to go for LP hunting trips on my big British motorcycles. In Oxford I found some great British Jazz LPs, now transferred to CD.

So today I have been listening to John Surman How Many Clouds Can You See? British free form Jazz.

The Mike Westbrook Concert Band - Marching Song Volumes 1 and 2. This is a masterpiece. The emotions of warfare as interpreted by a Jazz Orchestra.

This is all as fresh at it was all of those years ago and seems to have been forgotten!

Norma Winstone MBE - Edge of Time. Vocal British Jazz gymnastics, magical.

FM - Black Noise

Long forgotten (?) Canadian prog outfit that sometimes featured Nash the Slash. A bit Saga-ish.
