Now that I've got my turntable back I'm working my way through the backlog of D'Agostini jazz LPs. Sarah Vaughan at the moment - with Clifford Brown on trumpet.
 
This is an amazing album from the modern masters of prog metal. Innovative music is hard to find these days but this highpoint in the Vool catalogue is equally ambitious, epic, modern and above all melodic. Cannot recommend this band enough to those who are not familiar with them. Sounds quite good on vinyl too, takes the SQ over the CD up a notch.

What about that Google Doodle today ? Spring has sprung.

Reminded me of this. Yes I am a nutcase. But I love Ween. THe most inventive band to come out of the USA since - well .. I dunno.... Since...???
