Frank Zappa - Waka / Jawaka

My dog isn't a fan, having left the room in disgust. I suppose it is a bit noodley.

VU: The Quine Tapes

Lo-Fi, but given that it was all recorded to cassette in the late 1960's the quality is phenomenal. Don't play it that much but it is still a gem....

I stuck on an early pressing of Abbey Road, side one, to savor the analogue sound, as I had decided I would not be buying the recently announced Beatles vinyl box set!

Started with Robin Trower and similar but now chilling to various Ryan Adams, John Lee Hooker, Mick Taylor Band whilst waiting for overdue dinner guests.

A bunch of coverversons as I play them out on www.purple-radio.co.uk

Ryuichi Sakamoto & Alva Noto - By This River
This Mortal Coil - Morning Glory
Arthur Russell - Goodbye Old Paint
