Wear and tear on amplifiers

Try Penny & Giles.

The only time I ever heard of Penny And Giles was when I owned a DPA system waay back. The preamp wasn’t bad but it was far from cheap at the time.

I now have the fans but I’ve hit a bit of a snag, there’s no vent holes in the base plates, bugger.
I’ll have to cool it using the fans on the vents. Changes to my original plan now have to be revised, I’ll have to have a think about it again.

Also fitted in the cruise missile on the tail fins as servo feedback sensors.
A slider one was also fitted into a Leather Gauge tool to test the thickness, nice pots,.

Won't be standard off the shelf though, it'll be a handmade bespoke item that cost $400 a pop because that matches the prototype that was in the qualification trials....

I have recently started to power down at the end of every day but was wondering when powering back on if the subsonic pulse through the loudspeakers could damage the crossovers?
