Unexpected bonus

Hi Steve,
I thought that but my neighbours Plum trees just keep on giving bumper crop every year. Global warning might confuse them.
Any experience with walnuts?

The every two years bit isn't an absolute. I've just had 2 bumper years on my plum, after 4 years of hit-one-miss-one. I've never grown walnuts. They grow like weeds in northern France, around the vines. I had a few there, but that's all. I have a cherry, sometimes I get a handful but this year the pigeons found it and they get up earlier than I do and are prepared to wait all day. I didn't get one.

Now that's what I call a bonus; unless they are the very similar looking *checks handbook* Galerina Marginata.

Plenty of galerinas around here in autumn but they never seem to stain blue
