Tired NAP160, to 200 or not to 200, that is the q?

Perhaps not an "investment" in a serious sense, but a 1980s Naim will have held its value, maybe even increased it. Certainly compared to other brands from the same era.
 
Well thanks for all the input on different sides of the debate. I've opted for a JJ service so I look forward to getting it back and firing up the NAIM system again.

I'll endeavour to report back on my experience in due course!
 
After a lot of distractions at my end of things, I finally got the 160 back up and running after JJ's pre-Xmas service. Sounds as it should once more, and I can heartily endorse the other recommendations for his work.
