No improvement here either so I stopped taking them.
Yes, differentiating quieter speech from scenes with background music (which becomes more foreground) is hardest. Some sound engineers on TV programs should have their ar5es kicked TBH
I’ve had tinnitus for years and the last few it has become much worse in my left ear, so much that I sold all my hifi due to no longer being able to enjoy it.
I accompanied him to the hearing centre and we were told that his ears were full of wax, but despite him having NHS hearing aids, he was told that it would be £70 for wax removal, and that the person who does it is only available on Thursdays! Apparently, they are not allowed to refer a patient to the hospital, they can only refer to the GP, who in turn will refer him to the hospital. They can't adjust the hearing aid until the wax is out and in the meantime, he is almost totally deaf!
I'd agree 6/10 to 3/10. It's only really when I think about I notice it now. I mentioned the Lindens tablets as they were cheap enough to give a go. I might try some more expensive ones just to see if I get below 3/10.Does anyone who bought these have any feedback on them? I bought some and it's taken mine down from an average level of 6/10 to 3/10.
Of course, there could be a lot of other factors there but it'll be interesting to hear others' experiences.
I have a good friend who has slightly impaired hearing, tinnitus and an awful earwax problem. He needed his ears vacuumed out every two to three months to have even half decent hearing. That now costs him £120 a time (for both ears) and needless to say it doesn't happen as he is far from well off. His tinnitus gets progressively worse as this ears block up and he gets very depressed as you can imagine.
Will this be the next Tory scandal - The Great Ear Wax Con.

I got some CBD oil, but it turns out I can't take it regularly due to taking blood pressure medication. Essentially, if you're not supposed to drink grapefruit juice, you're not supposed to take CBD oil. It's the same liver chemistry, apparently.CBD oil has been working for my tinnitus. Lots of info on the web.
There are many different causes for tinnitus. Usually a combination of things as opposed to a single causal factor.
With my tinnitus, anxiety/stress is a factor. The CBD oil greatly reduces my anxiety, and as a result, my tinnitus.
YMMV...
My ENT specialist suggested this as he suffered with tinnitus following a nasty car crash many years ago. He went through 2 years of number 11 on the dial, entire ear/head tinnitus as I have been for the last 9 months since an infection/broken eardrum. He has made an appointment for Tinnitus retraining for me?? His tapered off after 2 years & he had to have brain surgery after his accident so I will always hold out hope. My quiet day out of 5 today, utter bliss. When it's like this, even though it lasts for one day, it is still hard to believe how bad it gets. Are these the ones?
Lindens Ginkgo Biloba 6000mg Tablets | 100 Pack | Each tablet provides 120mg 50:1 ginkgo biloba leaf extract, equivalent to 6000mg whole dried leaf, standardised to provide 24% Flavone Glycosides and 6% Terpene https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00BFX9VL0/?tag=pinkfishmedia-21

Sorry for the slow reply, I've been away with work. I've been taking them for a couple of weeks now.How long have you been taking them? I bought some a couple of weeks back but had no improvement yet.
