Thread for photos of really nice record shelves

Probably posted before, but here is the real boss:

Cat Stevens, I do declare ! Is he cataloguing the records?

Pleased with how these shelves turned out.

If you placed those shelves horizontally, you'd have superb browsing access, though longer arms may be needed for row 5 :D.

Space saving option.

Well well well! A stairwell to make you stare well.

Happy to be advised if that’s the case Bob. I do shift them round pretty regularly, but would they be better all leaning in one direction? I thought that might over stress them weight wise.

Fill the cubes so that they're all vertical. They shouldn't be leaning at all.

If that leaves empty cubes, so be it. You seem to have knick-knacks to fill them with

In my case there's definitely the completist gene at work (70+ Coltrane LPs on the shelf) - useless but fun is a good way to describe it.

But as a jazz fan there's just so much to explore. I came back from the record fair today with nine LPs plus a 13(!) disc Art Tatum box set. Oh dear!

I have 108 Coltrane LPs plus one box set.

These floor to ceiling built-in shelves were constructed by a friend for our old house, and then deconstructed and rebuilt when we moved. This one is 10 feet across, another is around the corner of this L-shaped room, and there are two more upstairs on the landing, each six feet across. Legs are model's own.
