oh yeah, you are correct, it does say that, even though it’s not a streaming dac and is meant to be connected to one…. Whoever wrote that needs to do some revision.
 
My experience with Volumio integrated on a minidsp SHD studio is that it’s only good enough as a roon endpoint. Their app is really buggy with a shitty interface, network playback was very problematic last time i tried. And i’m not illiterate either when it comes to this kind of stuff.
Luckily when i got Roon there no longer was a need for the other functionality.
