The Wam Show is dead - Long Live the Maverick Hifi Enthusiasts Show

Wam is currently back up but the flakiness of it all over the last months and rumours elsewhere of a data breach have put me off. Pity I really liked it back in the day. I’ve deleted what gear I had, so it’s only got basic info on me. Thank goodness I used my online birthday which cannot be changed, and not the real one.
Are you worried that the Chinese government might send you a birthday card? 😉

I'm not really sure whether any of the Wam account data would be of any use to anyone - unless of course you were a subscriber - most Wam members were tightwads like me, so I don't see any potential issues.

It's a shame that the Maverick forum hasn't really taken off - I like the black background (I view PFM in dark mode as well) - perhaps things will pick up after the show?

In the meantime, PFM has proved a welcome home for us Wam refugees 👍

No an all expenses paid holiday in one of their gulags :) PFM has always been a good site for me, it’s just previously I’ve posted more on an av site and a bit on the Wam. Ive looked at the Maverick site a few times but not been drawn in so far. HifiKabin? looked Linn centric so not of interest.
