I wonder what sort of books. On the system pics posts I always have a sneak peek at any bookshelves that are in shot, so I can make unfair judgments on pfmers reading habits.

Maybe it's to do with the length of the poem? And maybe it's just that we don't properly understand these archaic systems of measurement. I have no idea, for example, which is longer: an Iambic Pentameter, or a Modern Pentathlon.
