Kit, this is the same chap who does the outer bearing that is the subject of another recent thread. He also does loads of other LP12 bits, DC motor and speed controller, chassis, armboard, top plate, four part aluminium plinth and, by the look of it, stainless or brass outer platters.

I wouldn’t buy the outer bearing but the rest of it looks well made.

Good tip. I had a Cirkus put in two years ago so wasn't really in the market for a new bearing just yet anyway.

Surely the point of an aluminium plinth is to include an integral top plate to offer a completely rigid structure to house the rest of the turntable.

You could do it that way, glossy joints can be friends though...
