I get the point you are making but please do not use the word 'hate'. I have been a City supporter for 65 years and along with many other City fans we recognise his limitations. We certainly don't hate him. Yes he has his attributes (attitude, fitness and speed) and I don't think for one second that he is a cheat. My criticism of him when comparing him to the rest of the City squad (a very high bar indeed) is that he is a lightweight. No matter which half of the pitch he is playing or which direction he is running one little touch and he falls over. Although he has definatelly improved under the management of Guardiola and even as he has grown stronger he, unfortunately, is limited by his lack of balance and basic football intelligence. It is this God given and rare inate intelligence which elevates his teammates to world class status. I suggest that it is for these reasons that Liverpool sold him to City. Hate? no. Like as a person? yes. Prefer Foden? definately YES.
