Proof reading not always a strength
Meshell Ndegeocello - From their Black Music Month
I love the modest of this performance - Ndegeocello plays bass on one track and contributes to vocals on a couple of others - the complete opposite of a prima donna.
As an aside her edition of this is fascinating - eclectic, passionate and diverse. ( from Neil Young, Jeff Buckley and PJ Harvey to Outkast, Arthur Russell and Bootsy Collins) Her general enthusiasm and comments on Dolly Parton why she prefers vinyl are brilliant.
