Tannoy Chatsworth 12" MG rebuild advice.

Bases screwed on, and foam grille velcroed on one of them, Just waiting for the glue to dry on the other, where I have had to add 100mm to the length. Ready to move indoors, once I have made the cases for the QUAD 2805s, before I re-advertise them for sale.

They sound very different from the QUADs, unsurprisingly. More up front, more bass of course, but a little chesty at the moment, but enjoyable.
I have just ordered a Dayton Audio DATS V3 for T/S and impedance measuring, so I can tune the slots. REW will give me the FR measurements. When it's cooler!
They are just plonked down in front of the 2805s until they sell, so moving them back will change the sound anyway. But depth is good even now.

The DATS V3 arrived (a day late; thanks Amazon) and I've run a couple of impedance sweeps with them in the cabinets. I'll take them out later and try the T/S tests, and add a bit more damping in the box, to try and ameliorate the chestiness.

They autoscaled, so not directly comparable.
