I had an early finish today and have played around with the positioning of them a bit more. Pulled them out about two feet from back wall, oh my. The heavy fat bass has gone, it is now deep but fast, and they have lost the shrill top end I was getting, sounding mighty fine and dinky size adds to adoration. Huge sound stage and lots of detail, will give them a few hours and put the CELEF back in. This is fun, this hobby of ours!

Thanks. Is quite an improvement on the semi dark corner of the bedroom I have been working for the last 18 months or so. I like a tidy desk, but you should see the state of the garden

I goy my vinyl storage cubes from a guy on flea bay called Stuart, his seller name is the-london-label and they are well made and somewhat cheaper than the ones in the earlier post.

Not sure how relevant this is, but you do need to be careful with unsealed MDF - potential health hazard. Google is your friend as there’s a lot discussed on the subject.

Some tidying to do still, a chair to lose and some new furniture and room treatments to acquire, but this is better… the improvement in the bottom end is massive with this layout!

On a serious note, if I ever change my Ninkas out, Kudos and Neat are right at the top of my list, they make brilliant speakers!

Although I have given up vinyl years ago I really dig the looks of those slim line Rega's. Elegant and superficially simple.

Thank you, you can’t really hear how it sounds in the room via YouTube, but I’m super fussy being a live sound technician, I’ve done a lot of fussing and moving around to get it right and get the bass tight and well integrated with everything else… just about nailed it!
