What happened to the 802's?

Sold. To be fair they were passing through and were never intended for me. FWIW the avalons totally destroyed them.

I had the 35's myself, I absolutely loved the dead tight, rock solid bottom end, really impressive!

35's are really nice. It's the speaker that got me into ATC. I own the active versions; SCM25A's

The amps are Michell Alecto Mono's. I had the ATC integrated before, it had a tighter bottom end for sure and was faster. The Michell's go lower though, but have less control and are slower, but I like that - less hifi more music to these ears. They are a bargain for what they go for 2nd hand IMO.

Thanks! The speakers weren't cheap, but the amp and DAC together cost around £140.
