Replacement volume pot for NAIM 32.5

Hi Louballoo,

I'm in West Kent near Tonbridge.
Is it the current pot with 5 degrees of useful rotation? And what input(s) are you using?
Changing the pot for a different model will not change the level vs position as it's being used as potential divider. It follows a logarithmic law much like your hearing does. If it's far too loud then it sounds like your source level is far too high. Are you using 328 boards?

Mark, As far as I know I have the stock set of boards except for a K board for phono and a set of jumpers where the second phono would normaly be. I'll have to open it up and check.

I'm in Alberta so sending my unit to the UK for an upgrade may not be practicable.

Spinfaster I have a 42.5 in the cellar you can have the Alps off that for postage. it's a mule for measuring diy mods so I won't miss it.

Do the 32.5 and 42.5 share the same pot?
