That's OK.

Any views or opinions on an approach on the Radford Sharif?

Best

Hi Ian,

I'm planning to power it up after my holidays, it look like it could have some potential.

It has a interesting phonostage with a BC107 and half of a ECC83, in the late seventies I built a very similar design using a fet instead of a transistor this feed into a EF86 connected in triode mode.
The fet and the EF86 work well and I prefered it to the fet and ECC83, I felt that something was lost when using the ECC83 in that it wasn't as detail as the EF86.
One thing I don't like is the sound of a ECC83 cathode follower as is in the output stage of the Radford SC22. I will probably redesign it with a ECC88 or a mosfet.

Watch out for the Radford SC22 Preamp Challenge!

Sharif.
