Power dip on Friday 9th August

It's something set up by the Brexiteers to prove a point - it's the only bit of bad news in the last week that really IS "Nothing to do with Brexit". Thank Christ for that.
 
Nottingham was affected, so a bit more than the southeast corner.


After Brexit when France stops sending electricity it might happen more often.

I dont think Hornsea Offshore wind farm is in the SE?

Looks like most of England and Wales impacted at some point.


Since I last looked I dont think Newcastle is in the SE?
Northern Powergrid said the problems had affected Newcastle Airport and the metro system in the city.
 
any good? we nearly went on Sat, but then other events overtook us.
Pretty good but I have been going since the Ally Pally days and it's lost a lot of the fun factor. No bad beers tried but equally, nothing that stood out as outstanding.
The Queen tribute band went down well but, as always there, poor acoustics.
