To be fair, banks are rarely hacked. The credentials get compromised by other sites which have them, and are hacked.

Yes, I tend to agree. You only have one date of birth, mothers maiden name etc, they get hacked and you can't change them. Another system needs to be developed that allows your master ID to be reset once its compromised, I don't know what that could be.
