Saw them play 8-10 times a year up between 1981 and 1985. After that I've seen them play 8 times in 36 years including 3 times in 1986. Really enjoyed their ramshackle approach to gigs, rehearsals and audience interaction. They lost the edge for me pretty quickly after Low Life. I've no interest in them now.

Saw them in their early post JD days at the Kentish Town Forum, shambolic and not on a good way. On the way out we saw Hooky in the foyer apologising for the gig and also giving away tickets to a 'secret' gig at The Tabernacle in Notting Hill a few days later which turned out an amazingly good gig with a quadraphonic PA.
Saw them a few times since including some poor performances and some good. The last time I saw them was about ten years or so ago at Wembley soon after Hookie had left, technically it was excellent but did feel like the heart had gone.
