New House

Re-press from todays crop that will please many

And this tune really hits the spot for me. It grooves along in the way that Octave One can when they are at their best, sort of the Eniac/Foundation EP era. The Foundation EP was also re-released a couple of days ago.

I can't find a proper link for the tune so can only link to the Juno page. Its the second track, Anton Faulkner remix. Good stuff to these ears.

Good EP especially track 2 (2 mins in)

Another good release on Rutilance

Have to make do with a Juno link for this. First two tracks - Techno that's paced and vibed to work with Deep House. Really nice especially track 2 'Moscow', which is just one of those grooves that could last forever.

^^bass!

Re-released today from a couple of years ago, Hinode/Patrice Scott - The Hustlers EP. Hard to choose between the tracks so I'll post three of the four.

The Move D remix of Acasual's Spring Theory is re-pressed and available from today. A contender for one of this years best in this house.

Also as a nod to the fact that this is a hi-fi forum, Four Tet - Pink is out today as a limited half speed mastered double 12".

My favourite Soundstream from the batch of yesterdays re-presses. There's a whole bunch of them if you like the style. This one from 2008 and Julie's Theme (posted earlier in the thread) are my picks.

First up today is Phrased - Star Maker. A diverse EP on L B Produce with some good Acid, slinky Deep House and a lovely drifty off mellow tune. Tracks 1,3 and 4 in the clip.

The second is Purpura/LK/Blaktonix/Rudolf C - Eot EP on Micronesia. All tracks are good with the standouts for me being LK - Hot Coffee and Rudolf C -First Boats.

Its good day! I've managed to re-line my mother in laws chimney which is always a worry on a 400 year old building, and there's loads of good stuff out. Too much to post and buy but its nice to have some put by for leaner days that you can come back to. There's some good stuff at the noisier end too, but here's not the place.

First up a new label but not new material. Amir Alexander - Anthology One. Two mixes of the same tune cos I like them both so much.

Next is Takashi Himeoka - Aoi, deep into the morning hours tune.

Lastly, Bassa Clan - Unicorn. Three good tracks here, especially 1 and 3. Scroll down the page in the link to find Bassa Clan 03. Driving, trancey stuff.

Hope you like.

Hello Nick

Thanks for the heads up on the Kask. Really nice tune and I can see where you get the B12 connection from. E-mail alert set up ta.

Two nice tracks on the new Shift Ltd.

and a great Lady Blacktronika track

Apologies for this in advance. Its pumpy and has a cheese factor but just works. I'll take it as todays guilty pleasure.

Continuing the run of ace remixes off her excellent Hairless Toys album, Maurice Fulton adds twangy bass and more to House Of Glass:
