Naim power/pre amps with other brands

I purchased misterc6's NAP 180 from the classified here and, until I can afford a decent pre and hicap I've purchased a passive pre' so I'll let you know how this works out.

In every regard a decent SS power amp will absolutely eclipse even the best valve gear in every aspect of performance except "desirable" valve colouration.

Had a chance to listen to a valve amp since you posted this rubbish?

I have a Avondale 102 with a Klout, does this contravene the laws of nature / all that is holy. Seems to work for me!
