Naim December price hike

Linn and Naim make fine products. The question is whether they merit the cost attributed. Personally, I don’t really think so. I enjoyed the Naim I had when I had it but I was never really bowled over by it and I think my current gear outperforms it and is sensibly priced. As for lifestyle, I think all of these manufacturers are moving into this market area.

Someone mentioned that Linn is still a family business.
Who owns Naim now ?
I understood it was once ‘owned’ by French venture capitalists.

Wow - those prices. You can have service or repair, but not both, that's even more.

For those that might want it (like myself) there is a new version of the naim app out today on IOS and android

And it's free!!

I consider a service for my UQ1.
Would anyone know if display replacement prices (not service, just display) are more than tripled in the new year ?
