Naim - a couple of quick questions

Maybe 7-8 years ago people were a bit more brainwashed by the Naim servicing thing, but in recent years I believe the majority are less gullible and certainly more pragmatic. The recession has brought more than a little reality to the world, even in Naim hi-fi.
There was a time when I never would have even considered an alternative to getting my gear serviced ahead of time in Salisbury, but now it'll get done when it needs it and by someone reputable that can do it (Witch Hat for me).
Naim is an electronics company. It isn't Santa's magic workshop.

Hear hear. My 22 year old Nait exhibited no traits whatsoever that suggested it might need a service. I'm a little bit suspicious of the 'servicing' requirement but I have absolutely no electrical knowledge, so I'm open to qualified advice.
