Just in case I missed it through this thread, what glue are you using to join different woods sections together ?

Hi Alan

I used a longer opening and non creep wood glue, Titebond Extend. It sets really hard which you need for gluing up multilayers or veneers to avoid movement in the glue joint. Normal PVA based wood glue does move a little.
