Labour Leader: Keir Starmer VII

It makes a change to hear someone calling out a liar to their face.
Yes the Tory was taken aback. Years of getting a free run at lying has him shocked when faced with a guy simply calling out the truth to him. Why don't presenters do that anymore?

The guy is doing the job of the Leader of Her Majesty’s Opposition for him!

That is the thing. This is what Labour should be doing every single day. It is what their party exists for and it is what the general public pay them over £80k a piece to do. They need to represent normal working people. Hold corrupt lying Tory shit to account. Call out this far-right oligarchy/kleptocracy. It shouldn’t be hard and it doesn’t need overthinking. Labour need to revert to founding principles, which I’d say Lynch represents perfectly.

Forgive me but I still believe Keir Starmer is waiting for the tory bubble to burst!

He will then round them all up and put them where they belong, in the dock answering charges.

Then he will introduce, Leveson 11...

Plenty of the FBPE/Ukraine Twitterers appear to be enjoying Mick Lynch. He has mass appeal. Ironic considering his Brexit stance.

But I guess it shows how much people appreciate a bit of charisma (which Starmer sadly isn't blessed with).

Mr.Dacre’s goons will be going through his bins and doorstepping old acquaintances and rivals looking for paydirt. Rebekkkaaahh at Murdoch HQ will be seeking the mythical laptop with lesbian porn…oh, wait.

He seems smart enough to have changed his mind re brexit. Lets hope so. Otherwise I'm liking very much....

Talking of champagne socialists, I just happened to catch a programme on telly about The Savoy Hotel in which former Labour Home Secretary Alan Johnson is a guest and seems to love the high life. Can’t imagine man of the moment, Mick Lynch, staying there.

Anyway, this is what AJ said about the unions in 2013 (from Wiki):

“Johnson described trade union officials as "fat, white, finger-jabbing blokes on rostrums shouting and screaming" and said in 2014 that "A perception that Labour is in the pocket of the unions is damaging to the party ... The precious link between Labour and the unions becomes a liability rather than an advantage when it is allowed to look like a transaction.”

He’s an ex postman, he’s perfectly entitled to enjoy the Savoy. Lots of working class people enjoy doing nice things, he’s no longer in politics so I don’t see what the problem is?

I watched this earlier.
Incredible how low pathetic Morgan is stooping to try and score points even by his own standards.
A right horrible, petty and irrelevant bastard but then again, that shouldnt surprise anybody with a pulse.

Every media person that has interviewed Lynch has been made to look a chump.
It seems as though a good old dose of truth, intelligence and articulacy can derail (pun unintended), the best the media can offer.
