Janice Long RIP

Remember her back on Radio Merseyside, many moons ago, she moved on through the world of music presentation, her interest in music was a lot closer to the cutting edge than most of the DJ's at the station. Sadly her brother, Cheggers also died young. I bumped into him in Victoria Station maybe 10 years ago and he was great.

I used to listen to her show before John Peel back in the 1980s. Seems a million years ago and yet just yesterday. Very sad news as 66 is no real age.

Didnt she take over David Jensen's programme before Peel's 10 o clock slot?
I've a box full of C90's full of sessions from those times.

RIP Janice, she certainly loved her music.
