Is this for real?

<moderating>

Personal attack towards dealer removed, beyond both the AUP and this site's intended scope.

No offence intended tony but he clearly had no time for me, depite the fact that I'd gone to a fair effort to get there, by the same token I have a list of dealers who I can and do recommend very highly.

It's certainly more of an audio boutique than a traditional dealership.

Bob griffin ran a superb dealership from the premises, I miss the guy, carl who took over was a good guy too.

Well, you could pay £685 for those but you'll be laughed at for not going the extra mile and shelling out £3,300 for these.

When I google imaged the name Shun Mook I came across this image I recall being discussed here (mod's: remove if necessary)

I heard the Shun Mook record clamp on an LP12 some years ago. Couldn't believe the price when I was told.

That's my favourite picture of a hifi accessory ever. Bullshit foo and Steve in napped suede.

I would really love to know how many of these gladgets are sold per year, I would be surprised if it was more than a handful.. Then again it would be a handful too many!

It's amazing that delivery is 2-3 days. You would think at these prices they would be made to order.

It states:-
The ultimate room acoustic control system consisting of a total of 44 Mpingo Disc with six maple wood stands - place each of the six stands in the listening room to control sound staging and tonal balances. Having this much control in your room literally brings the music hall into ones listening room as though the walls have disappeared.

For £3300 I could hire a band or knock the bloody walls down myself!
Or alternatively just buy some significantly better kit.

I've heard crystals and holy water work a treat, they also heal all ailments, keep evil spirits at bay and they're cheaper so there!

I'd love it if someone here actually tried it out, it's only ever going to get mocked though (or people would be too ashamend to admit to used it).

I think I'd rather poop my pants in public than have a picture of me with something as foo as this circulating the internet. I guess everyone has to earn a living.

In any case, I enjoy looking at this picture. It reminds me that I am not the biggest jerk in the world.
