IncaTech Claymore (bling version)

Indeed. What a shame!

Unfortunately the previous owner was over zealous with the polishing and has rubbed most the gold plating off which is a shame but it still looks great as it is imo.

No longer listed, he says it was serviced in 2019 but invoice says Sept 2020, be interesting to see if it re-appears with a different description

Hi 6 Gold Claymore's 12 Nickel, 27,000 Black not to many
Paul Miller did a review on his Gold Claymore about two years ago, still Gold.
If the plating came of so would the print, I hate fibs.
Shame the press never print the truth G.M. about you.

Still, 12 is pretty rare, and i would have thought that a limited run of 12 would still have cost more than the £400+ that this one was being asked for. I wonder how much the gold version would cost, if one ever came up?

You can see some ‘goldish’ colouring around the push buttons, presumably where the nickel plating has worn, exposing the brass underneath.
Maybe he mistakenly thought this ‘gold’ colouring was the last remnant of a top coating that covered the whole amplifier rather than something showing through from underneath the nickel.
